Congratulations on the purchase of your new Sightron Spotting Scope. We

have designed your spotting scope for a lifetime of enjoyment and

performance. Sightron Spotting Scopes are the nest products on the market

Your Sightron Spotting Scope

Before using your Spotting Scope we suggest you take a minute to check

each accessory and learn it’s function. Your Scope includes the following:

· Variable Zoom Eyepiece

· Protective Scope Case

· Ocular and Objective Lens Caps

Removing and Installing Eyepieces

Your Spotting Scope comes with a Variable Zoom eyepiece from the factory.

To install the eyepiece simply rotate the eyepiece mounting ring in a

clockwise direction until tight. To unistall the eyepiece simply rotate the

eyepiece in a counter clockwise direction.

Note: Only hand tighten the mounting ring as only a snug fit is required.

Changing Magnication

The Zoom Eyepiece is best used when you need to view a distant object

closer. As you zoom up in magnication the eld of view will become

smaller and the object will become larger. To change magnication on the

eyepiece rotate clockwise or counter clockwise to the desired magnication.

Note: The eyepiece will not rotate any lower or higher than the specied

magnication.

Focusing Your Spotting Scope

To focus your Spotting Scope, simply rotate the focus knob until the image

becomes clear. On models that have coarse and ne focusing adjustments, use

the coarse adjustment for longer focal adjustments and the ne adjustment

for shorter focal adjustments. Under certain conditions the more magnication

you use, the image can become unclear due to atmospheric conditions.

Mounting Your Spotting Scope

All Sightron Spotting Scopes use the industry standard 1/4 x 20 thread screw

hole. To mount your Spotting Scope simply screw the mounting plate using

the mounting screw into the bottom of the spotting scope mount plate

until snug.

Note: Do not over tighten.

Maintenance

Keeping your lenses clean is important and dirt or improper cleaning can

degrade the image or destroy the coating. A lens cleaning kit is recommended

and can be purchased at most retail outlets. Do not use water or window

cleaning products to clean lenses as the minerals will remove the lens

coatings.

Sightron, Inc. Lifetime Warranty

Sightron, Inc., will repair this product or replace the product at Sightron’s

discretion. This warranty only covers failure due to defects in materials

or workmanship which occur during normal or regular use. It does not cover

damage which occurs in shipment or failures which result from accident,

misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandeling, misapplication, alteration, modication

or service by anyone other than Sightron, Inc., or damage that is attributable

to acts of God.
